The Role: 

We are looking for an AI Applications Engineer who can apply AI technologies to develop tools and solutions for image and video processing workflows.

What you’ll build:

  • Gather business requirements and develop AI-powered tools, scripts, and applications for image and video processing.
  • Research, test, and integrate AI models, APIs, and media processing tools to solve practical image and video processing challenges.
  • Design and build workflows that combine AI tools, APIs, and scripts to automate and streamline image and video processing tasks.
  • Evaluate and select suitable technologies based on output quality, processing speed, and cost.
  • Test solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimise tools and workflows to ensure reliable performance, consistent output quality, and reusability.
  • Improve existing solutions based on feedback and the practical needs of relevant teams.
  • Keep up with the latest AI technologies and proactively identify, propose, and test new applications that can create business value.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and build end-to-end workflow automations using n8n, Make, Zapier or similar platforms.
  • Develop AI-powered internal tools for Product, Marketing, Operations, HR and Customer Service teams.
  • Integrate internal systems including Shopify, Meta, Google Workspace, ERP, CRM, databases and third-party services through APIs and webhooks.
  • Build AI workflows using OpenAI, Claude and other LLMs for content generation, document processing, customer support, product management and internal knowledge retrieval.
  • Develop agentic workflows that automate multi-step business processes.
  • Build internal dashboards and monitoring systems to measure automation performance and business impact.
  • Optimize and maintain production AI workflows as business needs evolve.
  • Document automation architecture and technical implementation clearly for long-term scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver practical AI solutions.

Requirements Must-Have:

    Must-have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Hands-on experience or a relevant foundation in application development, AI integration, workflow automation, or image and video processing.
    • Basic programming knowledge, preferably in Python. Familiarity with APIs and JavaScript is a plus.
    • Basic knowledge of AI/Generative AI and an understanding of how to apply AI technologies to solve real-world problems.
    • Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
    • Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and an interest in developing AI-powered tools and systems.
    • Willingness to learn, stay up to date with new technologies, and experiment with different approaches to find suitable solutions.

    Nice-to-have:

    • Familiarity with or experience in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and related AI application techniques.
    • Experience building automated workflows, internal tools, batch processing pipelines, or integrations involving multiple APIs.
    • Experience with AI tools, models, or libraries for image and video processing.
    • Personal projects, practical applications, or a portfolio demonstrating the ability to use AI to solve specific problems.

    Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM to 18:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
