The role
At Bloomentum, we take a data-driven approach to operations, continuously improving our processes and developing internal solutions to imporove business efficiency and support long-term growth.
We are looking for a Business Analyst Specialist to work closely with business teams and IT to analyse business needs, design processes and develop systems that support our e-commerce operations. You will be involved throughout the process, from identifying business problems and proposing solutions to defining business requirements and working with IT on system development, implementation and ongoing improvements. Your goal will be to ensure that our systems meet current operational needs while remaining scalable as the business grows.
What you'll do:
1. Business Requirements Analysis
- Work with business teams to understand their workflows, gather requirements and identify problems that need to be solved.
- Analyse existing processes, identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
- Document business processes, requirements and the system features that need to be developed.
2. System Development & Implementation
- Work with the IT team to clarify requirements, agree on solutions and implement systems that meet actual business needs.
- Track development progress, clarify business-related questions and ensure the system meets the agreed requirements.
- Take part in testing, reviewing and approving system functionality, and support the rollout of new systems.
3. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor system and process performance after implementation and gather feedback from users.
- Identify issues, recommend improvements and help reduce manual work and errors.
- Proactively identify opportunities to use technology and automation to improve operational efficiency.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with business teams and IT throughout requirements analysis, solution implementation and problem-solving.
- Initially focus on supporting Operations teams, including Supply Chain, Planning, Order Operations and Customer Success.
- Gradually expand the scope of work to other teams, such as Design, Creative, Marketing and E-commerce, based on business needs.
Requirements Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Process Improvement or a related role.
- Experience analysing business processes, gathering requirements and preparing documentation for system development and implementation.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into clear requirements and practical solutions.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clarify requirements and work effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Experience in E-commerce, DTC, Retail, Fashion or a related industry is an advantage.
- Experience working with internal systems, process automation, system integration or data reporting platforms is an advantage.
